New Design: What Do You Think?

Quick housekeeping note… you’ve probably already seen that I’ve made some design changes around these parts.  I’m still working on some things — like rendering iframes in Chrome, cross-browser compatibility issues, etc. — but I’m reasonably happy with this so far.

So… what do you think?  And if you run into problems/issues, please leave a comment here for me to fix/look at.

Thanks,

Managing Partner of 7DS Associates, and the grand poobah of this here blog. Once called "a revolutionary in a really nice suit", people often wonder what I do for a living because I have the temerity to not talk about my clients and my work for clients. Suffice to say that I do strategy work for some of the largest organizations and companies in real estate, as well as some of the smallest startups and agent teams, but usually only on projects that interest me with big implications for reforming this wonderful, crazy, lovable yet frustrating real estate industry of ours.

  1. Perhaps a Home or Blog button in the Nav? Once people go to other pages, it’s not obvious how to get back to your main content/blog.

  2. Looks good Rob, I dig it. I’m in agreement with Brad. It’s not always obvious to people that they can click on the header to get to the home-page. Otherwise, all good!

  3. Thanks guys — I’ve added a “Frontpage” based on the feedback. 🙂 hopefully that’ll help with navigation somewhat. I think I was wrong to assume everyone knows to click the header to get back home. 🙂

  4. It’s sort of Harry potter-esque, like deathly gallows. I’ll miss the mystery of the shroud but love the wicked font and clean design

  5. Rob, dare I be the one that suggests you consider another look and feel rather than the deathly gallows and dungeon look others refer to above. It reminds me too much of the other Rob Hahn – the author of The Funeral Home Murders.

You are so unique – you need a unique identity.
