I found #2 to be the most interesting. The representatives from traditional media sources were pretty arrogant, considering at least one of them worked for a very large and very bankrupt newspaper. They had some good ideas, which will only matter if they can get past the idea that people will listen to them just because they have degrees in journalism.

Cracked me up, the best top nine I’ve read thus far! Was in attendance and can’t dance but am a REALTOR!! I tried! The event missed a few marks as far as I’m concerned, rubbing shoulders in the hallways is what it should be called, I got my best there! Why can’t I ‘TwitThis’ (check your button out) see didn’t learn a thing?

10. Don’t hug someone until you are sure it is who you thought it was (unless it is a strategy to meet that person by creeping them out, then it is okay)

Great list. For the most part you nailed it and gave me a few chuckles in the process. I especially loved your observation on #6 (gimmicks) and #5 (camera crews). I laughed my ass off at WordCamp Seattle last month when all sorts of bloggers started flooding Twitter with messages at the local NBC affiliate, trying to get the news crews to show up at WordCamp.
